To create this masking image in photoshop, I started by typing an ampersand using the text tool. I made it bold to give it a strong shape for the design. After that, I added a photograph of winter trees on a new layer above the ampersand.

To get the tree image to fit inside the ampersand, I used a clipping mask. This made the ampersand act like a window, showing only the parts of the tree photo within its shape. This technique blended the detailed texture of the trees with the ampersand, making the two elements work together smoothly.

I adjusted the position of the tree image to highlight the most interesting areas within the ampersand. This helped keep both the shape and the tree details clear. I also tweaked the opacity and blending settings slightly to make everything look more natural.

Finally, I double-checked the alignment and made small adjustments to balance the composition. This process combined text and images using simple masking in photoshop to create a clean, eye-catching design.
